Today we are releasing a Patch for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire on Xbox Series X|S to make general improvements and fix a multitude of issues. Check out all the details below. Have a gouda day!

Improvements
Significant performance improvements across all levels of the game.
Swapped default input bindings for Dash and Crouch on controller.
Improved default graphic settings based on device specifications.
Changed default FOV setting for PC (XPA)
Added a “Quit” & “Quit to Menu” prompts in the setting for Rog Ally X players.
Balanced the number of “Cheese” a player can hold at a given time to be a maximum of 9.
Added missing VO Subtitles throughout the game.
Added missing Localization strings throughout the game.
Refined a small number of Simplified Chinese translations for better accuracy.
Various SFX and ambience improvements across the game.
Combat music improvements in specific arena moments.
Various UI Improvements across the game when navigating the Settings Menu.
Player can now swap quick swap to the last active weapon when using the flashlight.
Refined navigation of the Crime Wall with a controller.
Game now displays Privacy Notice and EULA on first time launch.
Fixed issues with getting stuck on non-english versions of Privacy Notice.
Crashes
Fixed a crash that occurred when taking a photo in the “River Fever Line” level.
Fixed a crash that occurred when adjusting the Motion Sickness settings.
General
Fixed the “Real Deal Gumshoe” achievement not unlocking correctly.
Prevented the Baseball minigame tutorial from showing every time the player enters the minigame.
Fixed missing textures on certain baseball cards.
Fixed specific levels not rendering when Lens Distortion was disabled.
Corrected baseball cards layering incorrectly over the player’s hand.
Fixed “tactics” cards failing to flip during the baseball minigame.
Fixed player input breaking when using a Keyboard & Mouse while a Controller is connected.
Adjusted the interaction zone size for various pick-ups throughout the game.
Fixed the Coffee Powerup sequence breaking if a health potion is consumed while the power-up is active.
Fixed an issue preventing players from wall running correctly.
Fixed missing flashlight prompts throughout the game.
Fixed D-namite occasionally disappearing when thrown.
Fixes to settings, including:
Prevented the Volumetric Lights setting from incorrectly altering all other graphics settings.
Resolved post processing issues when graphic quality set to low.
Fixed VSync turning on by default when Graphics settings were set to Low.
Fixed incorrect VSync locking the player's monitor refresh rate
Fixed Quality settings incorrectly altering Render Scale and Anti-Aliasing settings.
Ensured applied settings always save correctly for the player.
Fixed Diffusion Settings only working when graphics settings were set to Low.
Fixed a freeze caused by interacting with an NPC immediately after loading a checkpoint.
Fixed players occasionally being sent out of bounds when exiting water in specific areas.
Fixed UI elements (such as the reticule and ammo counter) disappearing when making settings changes.
Fixed alt-tab issue causing game to auto scroll through menu’s.
Fixed the FOV resetting to default when reloading saves.
Resolved an issue where the game could hang when trying to load a save file.
Resolved several resolution improvements across Xbox.
Levels
Fixed enemies getting stuck in walls in the “Mouseburg Opera” level.
Removed invisible collision during the mini-boss fight in the “Mouseburg Opera” level.
Fixed a freeze during the first boss fight in the “Bandel’s Laboratory” level.
Corrected the Directional Helper leading players down the wrong path in the “Tinsel Ave.” level.
Prevented enemies from attacking the player during a cutscene in the “Wallop Bay” level.
Fixed enemies failing to spawn in the “Curdsville” level, which blocked progression.
Fixed a door failing to unlock in the “Curdsville” level, which blocked progression.
Fixed certain ammo types being uncollectable during the “Curdsville” boss fight.
Resolved a graphical issue in “The Reel Deal” that could previously prevent players from progressing due to a black screen when lens distortion is disabled.
Fixed static playing instead of dialogue on the loudspeakers in “The Reel Deal” level.
Fixed a soft-lock in the “Far Wetlands” level.
Improved enemy pathfinding in “Quagmire” to stop units from snagging on doors and level geometry which could cause a progression blocker.
Smoothed out player transitions in the “Quagmire” level.
Fixed missing or bypassable geometry in the “???” level that blocked progression.
Fixed a progression blocker in the “Bandel’s Mansion” level caused by a missing quest interactable.
Fixed the player incorrectly taking damage while on a trampoline in the “Secret Show” level.
Fixed an invisible NPC in the “Secret Show” level that blocked progression.
Fixed an issue in the “Der Harzerburg” level where reloading a save stopped enemies from spawning and blocked progression.
Quests
Fixed an uncollectable item in “The Old Subway” level needed to complete Tammy's “Blueprints, please” sidequest.
Fixed a missing prompt in “The Reel Deal” level that prevented players from wrapping up the current quest and progressing to the next one.
